Every year, the Carmel Valley Trail and Saddle Club is host to various horse shows and clinics. With an all-purpose club house, BBQ grounds and facilities, many private groups also rent the grounds for meetings, parties and other gatherings. Intro to Roping Workshop

- Come down to the Club to learn all about roping! Workshop leader Bill Kaufman will start off the day with explaining the different types of ropes and how they apply to different jobs on the ranch. The participants will then break out into groups for groundwork and learn how to build a loop and catch using a roping dummy.
- After lunch those that have brought horses can move on to learning how to track a dummy behind an ATV. Those without horses will continue with groundwork.
- Lunch is included in the registration fee but may also be purchased separately.
- This workshop will be appropriate for all ages and levels of experience.
