With an all-purpose club house, BBQ grounds and facilities, many private groups also rent the grounds for meetings, parties and other gatherings. Karen Topping, Meghan’s House Rescue
Dogs and horses are truly our best friends and have partnered with humans for millennia. What is it about their psychology that makes this so?
Karen Topping of Meghan’s House Rescue is coming to the Trail & Saddle Club to talk about dog psychology and pack dynamics and compare to horse psychology and herd dynamics. She started her rescue in 2020 after shutting down her successful 20 year equestrian team program due to the pandemic. She will share what she has learned from understanding the differences and the similarities between our canine and equine partners and how to apply it everyday.
Karen has created a successful and popular ‘foster-to-adopt’ program which teaches how to integrate rescue dogs into households. She plans to bring a few fabulous dogs to the Trail & Saddle Club event which will be available for this program.
