Working Equitation Ease of Handling Clinic

December 10, 2022

All-purpose Arena, 9 AM – 4:30 PM.

Working Equitation is taking off at the Carmel Valley Trail and Saddle Club! It’s a fast-growing sport in which competitors may ride ANY type of horse (including gaited, or mule or donkey) in ANY style of tack. It is a multi phase competition that includes a dressage trial, an ease of handling trial (obstacles), and at higher levels, an obstacles at speed phase.

In this clinic, we will be working through obstacles that you might have on a WE course or on a trail course. Ali’s goal is to acclimate horses and riders to obstacles in a way that builds confidence right from the start.

For more experienced WE horses and riders, Ali will help refine techniques for better scores.

Ali is a kind teacher with a compassionate way of working with horses and their people. This clinic offers something for everyone.

Cost: $150 for a three hour group session, six rider/horse teams; ($20 non-member fee)
